Find out how to apply for an ERC Starting or Consolidator Grant. The ERC wants to support younger researchers to become and stay independent. Our experienced trainers will help you to demystify the ERC and take you through a comprehensive journey in short videos that you can watch when it suits you. The courses will be followed by a live q&a call.

Are you a young researcher (2-7 years after PhD for StG and 7-12 years for CoG)? Do you have a new and groundbreaking research idea that keeps you awake at night? Will the idea break new grounds in your own and neighbouring disciplines?
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we cannot offer a physical course this year, but you can learn all about the ERC whenever it suits you wherever you have internet access.
Please join us for a series of two courses to find out how to bring your idea to life:
The ERC Basics course is for those who would like to try ERC for the first time. It will show you the basic concepts which are different from Research Council projects. Total length 80 min in videos of 5-7 minutes.
The ERC Beyond Academy should be taken right after or of those who are already familiar with the ERC. Its total length is 2h 45min.

Our trainers from Enspire Science have many years of experience with ERC and a very good success rate of researchers they coached.
Participants will obtain a complete understanding of the ERC funding scheme.
The basic course will lay the foundations of the ERC grant. The Academy will focus on conveying information to the participants which cannot be found in the ERC official documentation.
