Teaching and learning methods
Lectures and/or seminars. Teaching is offered in cooperation with the University of Trondheim (NTNU), predominantly as an on-line course.
There may also be some shared classes for students in the NORPART- master´s courses/program.
Compulsory Assignments and Attendance
One 15 minute oral presentation about a chosen research question related to the reading list.
1 written assignment of around 800 words: a summary of a reading list article which gives weight to the article's structure and argumentation. The assignment should also contain a final critical section, where the article's strengths and weaknesses are discussed.
Mandatory assignments are valid for one additional semester following the semester of instruction.
Forms of Assessment
The assessment is a term paper of around 3000 words on a given topic (three weeks). The exam must be answered in French.
Students will be offered supervision during the exam.

Reading List
A compendium consisting of texts on literary theory, in addition to one or two novels and possible adaptations.
The compendium will be made available at litteraturkiosken.no.
The reading list will be published by 1 July for the autumn semester, and by 1 December for the spring semester.
