What is the country list?
The country list shows the educational background required for admission to our two-year master’s programmes. Find your country to see which requirements apply to you.
All applicants to our master’s programmes must have a bachelor's degree comparable to a Norwegian bachelor’s degree. A Norwegian bachelor’s degree builds on the Higher Education Entrance Qualification (GSU), which is the general basis for admission to universities and colleges in Norway. Some applicants must document 1-2 years of higher education to meet the GSU requirement, and an additional bachelor’s degree of 3 years or more, to be equivalent to a Norwegian bachelor’s degree.
In other words, some applicants must therefore have completed at least 4 or 5 years of higher education to meet our master’s admission requirements.
Additional documentation requirements may also be required depending on where you have completed your higher education. If this is applicable to your country, it will be shown in the list below.

You have to provide a verification report of your transcipt of records in English by CHESICC (China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center). The verification report must be uploaded to your application at Søknadsweb.

Additional documentation requirements
Copies of the diploma and transcripts must be officially certified by the awarding institution. If you have not yet received a final Bachelor's diploma you must submit a Success Certificate/Attestation of Results (not older than three years) and the transcripts must show when the degree was conferred.
