Teaching

I am involved in the iEarth Centre for Excellence in Education, a national consortium of earth science departments. I am the iEarth Education Chair at the Department of Earth Science and Leader of iEarth Focus Area 1, which aims to develop a new framework for transforming the higher education curriculum. The educational change process is also the subject of the PhD project of Dario Blumenschein.

I have developed and currently teach the following courses:

GEOV114 - Introduction to geobiology

GEOV302 - Data analysis in earth science

I am also involved in the following courses:

GEOV344 - Geobiology and evolution of life on Earth

BIO318 - Current geobiological topics
