Research
My main interests rely on understanding terrestrial ecosystems responses to long-term climate changes. I am particularly interested in the study of lakes and peatlands palaeoecological changes during the Holocene, using a multiproxy approach and spatio-temporal data analysis of sites. I am currently working on assessing the drivers for carbon accumulation in low alpine Holocene peatlands in West Scandinavia and regional fingerprints in carbon dynamics in Northern Europe.
