Damoun Nassehi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care at the University of Bergen.
Research

His research interests include doctor-patient relationships, digital health technologies, patient-centred care, care ethics, and artificial intelligence. Nassehi is a qualified physician specialising in general practice and holds a PhD in Medicine from the University of Copenhagen, where he conducted research on brain tumours (meningiomas). He has also held a postdoctoral position at the University of Stavanger, working on the project 'Caring Futures: Developing care ethics for technology-mediated care practices (QUALITECH).' Additionally, he was a member of the Norwegian Board of Technology from 2016–2020 and 2020–2024.

Teaching

Damoun Nassehi is responsible for teaching general practice at Vestlandslegen.
