Work
My PhD project is a field based work focussing on the Southern margin of the Rift of Corinth. I will spend 4 years working on the Basin and Reservoir Studies (BRS) group under the supervision of Rob Gawthorpe.
I studied geology and particularly sedimentology in Bordeaux (France). I got an engineering degree in geosciences from ENSEGID in 2017. Then I graduated from the Sedimentology and Palaeoclimate Master of the University of Bordeaux in 2018. I participated in several fieldtrips in Spain, France and Morocco during the previous years. I went to an open sea oceanographic cruise targeting the carbonate Bahamian platforms and I worked on some data collected during my engineer and Master’s Thesis. For the first one, I studied two giant submarine canyons thanks to bathymetric, backscatter and VHR seismic data. During the other one, I focused on submarine slides occurring in an intra-platform basin using HR seismic and bathymetric data.
