is Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, and Professor at the State University of Applied Science in Konin, Poland. He has a PhD in Political Science from Poznan University (1995), and a Habilitation from the same university in 2011. His major areas of research are the study of the Nordic countries, welfare state theory and practice, and national security.
