ICT PhD Forum
Welcome to the May edition of the ICT PhD Forum! This month's topic: What to expect when lecturing a course
Hovedinnhold
The next meeting of the ICT PhD Forum will be held jointly between PhD students and Postdocs on Tuesday, 3 May, at 12:00. All PhD students and Postdocs at the Department of Informatics are welcome (and encouraged) to join! We will have an informal panel discussion about what to expect when lecturing a course.
The meeting will be held in the meeting room Rips (3rd floor Datablokken). In addition to the discussions, there will be time set aside for mingling at the end of the meeting.
More information about the forum meeting, including the registration link, has been sent to all PhD candidates and Postdocs in a separate email.
In general, the ICT PhD Forum has been created as a place where PhD candidates enrolled in the Department of Informatics' PhD program can get together and learn from one another. The forum meetings are organized by the PhD candidates themselves, and in 2022 we are again planning for monthly meet-ups. A meeting will usually consist of 1-2 short talks/seminars given by invited speakers, followed by an informal networking and discussion session.
In 2022, the forum organizers are Erlend Raa Vågset and Knut Anders Stokke.
