These are a series of yearly summer/winter schools suppported by the the Norwegian Research School on Changing Climates in the coupled Earth System (CHESS) and the Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education (Diku)  and is a part of the partnership in climate between the Bjerknes Centre in Bergen, the University of Washington, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), the University of Texas-Austin, McGill University and Harvard University.
