John Birks has been elected a Foreign Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (Kungliga Vetenskapsakademien ("KVA")) in the Geosciences section.

Congratulations to John, Professor of Quantitative Palaeoecology, on being elected to the Geosciences section of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. It's good to see the cross-disciplinary nature of the research being recognised.
