Forskning

Jeg har forskningsinteresser både innenfor filosofihistorie og samtidsfilosofi. 

I filosofihistorien er arbeidet mitt fokusert på den såkalte "klassiske tyske filosofien". Jeg har b.a. publisert om Kants moralpsykologi; Hegels metafysikk, sinnsfilosofi, æstetikk, sosialteori og hans oppfatninger om rase og kolonialisme; og om Fichtes epistemologi. 

Innenfor samtidsfilosofien ligger interessene mine i sinnsfilosofi og psykologiens filosofi (b.a. fenomenologi av handlinger, begrepslige utfordringer innenfor psykopatologi), sosialfilosofi (b.a. rasisme, post-truth), og i postkolonial tenkning. 

Jeg organiserer "Critical Theories Colloquium", en gruppe som samler forskere og avanserte studenter med interesser innenfor postkolonial tenkning, kritisk rasefilosofi, (trans)feminisme, politisk epistemologi m.fl. Ta gjerne kontakt med meg hvis du er interessert i å delta på gruppens møter. 

Sammen med Daniel James (Düsseldorf/Berlin) arrangerer jeg seminarrekken "Hegel (anti)kolonial" (hegelantikolonial.wordpress.com).
