My PhD project aims to reconstruct ocean temperatures during past episodes of greenhouse climate (e.g. Eocene) using clumped isotope paleothermometry on foraminifera (marine calcareous microfossils).
My wider research interests include paleoclimate reconstruction, paleoceanography and micropaleontology, especially in the context of past warm climate periods as possible analogues for future climate change.
