Hovedinnhold
The university’s strategy for 2019 – 2022 demands the renewal of administrative services to ensure that the university’s primary activities are well supported. The university faces ever-increasing requirements and expectations in terms of digitalisation, modern working processes and efficient use of resources.
As the university’s strategy for 2019 – 2022, UiB Service Development will aid the renewal of administrative services to ensure that the university’s primary activities are well supported.
The programme’s mission is to facilitate a comprehensive administration - regardless of whether services are provided at a departmental level, faculty level or via central administration. The point of departure for the administration will be in the university’s academic activities, and it will develop available services while centring students and staff.
UiB Service Development will be a driving force in the delivery of a user-oriented approach, as well as a more agile, flexible organisation that is able to work more quickly and efficiently. The programme will help to ensure that the administration is future-oriented and innovative, and will adopt an exploratory approach to those tasks it must complete.
Furthermore, the programme has overall responsibility for processes related to the refurbishment of the building at Nygårdsgaten 5 and replacement premises during the construction period. The programme has facilitated extensive processes around the concept development pertaining to office space in the building, ensuring full employee participation in this phase.
