Bergen Summer Research School (BSRS) 2023
Childhood: Nurturing care for building the future.

BSRS 2023 was held face-to-face in Bergen 5-15 June, 2023

BSRS 2023  was inspired by the nurturing care framework

Ingunn Marie S. Engebretsen was the scientific leader of the BSRS 2023 and selected five courses representing the domains of the nurturing framework:

Health   |   Nutrition   |   Education   |   Caregiving   |   Migration

The Global Mental health Research Group is proud to have contributed to the Caregiving course , an members of our group took the lead in coordination and teaching:
Ragnhild Dybdahl , Unni Heltne and Henriette Risvoll.

The course had excellent teachers from all over the world including Dr John Phuka, Executive Dean, School of Public and Global Health (SOGAPH) at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS), Malawi and Melissa Gladstone Professor in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics and International Child Health, University of Liverpool, UK. The course also had good contribution from colleagues and partners at UiB, Norce, FHI and other partners in Norway.

So, "we did it" - we have delivered an excellent PhD course in Caregiving!
