The 3rd WDPI Conference: Implementing Work Disability Prevention Knowledge is held in Toronto September 29th – October 1st, 2014.

The WDPI Biennial Conference serves as an international forum for research and knowledge implementation related to work disability prevention and integration, across all causes of work incapacity. http://wdpi2014.iwh.on.ca/home

Tove Ask presents first results of her PhD work. She found that leadership styles and preferred strategies seemed to be related to the phase of sickness absence management and the individual situation. Her results suggest that a better balance between being supportive and making demands and confronting the employees is requested.
