Behavioral economics and experimental economics

We are concerned with the interplay between Economics  and Psychology.

We conduct controlled experiments both in a lab and in the Norwegian Citizen Panel in order to understand behavior in economic settings. Examples of central questions include: Why do people cooperate with others despite the fact that it does not pay off?  Which mechanisms foster cooperation and trust among people?
