Studentar som utvekslar for studier og praksis i kinesisk rett vil tilbringe semesteret enten i Beijing eller i Shanghai. Universitetsstudia og praksisen vil føregå i same by.

Shanghai is Jotun¿s regional hub for North East Asia, and an internship with Jotun will be based here. An internship with Jotun in Shanghai, would give the opportunity to work in our marketing department, assisting with;

1. Handling litigation and related non-litigation work of trademark, unfair competition and other intellectual property cases

2. Domestic/foreign intellectual property (trademark) application

3. Internal intellectual property management and maintenance

4. Assist in the collection of evidence in criminal and civil cases, analyze and discuss cases with external lawyers, and study the breakthrough points of difficult cases

5. Data compliance related laws and regulations retrieval, update, preliminary interpretation

6. Review of template agreements and privacy-related documents

7. The company's standardized process processing and feedback, such as PIA, collection/use of personal data list, partner data security questionnaire and data review and collation

8. Conduct data compliance research, industry practice cases, administrative and judicial cases, etc.

Kven kan søke

Denne avtalen kan nyttast av studentar på siste studieår av masterprogrammet i rettsvitskap. For å kvalifisere til studier og praksis i Kina må ein ha eit karaktersnitt på "rein C" eller betre.

Når i studiet kan eg reise

Studentar som starta på det femårige masterprogrammet hausten 2021 eller seinare kan reise på utveksling i vårsemesteret på tredje studieår. Under utanlandsopphaldet tek du valfrie juridiske emne i staden for emna du ville studert om du var i Bergen.

I tillegg kan alle jusstudentar, både dei på femårig og dei på toårig masterprogram, reise på utveksling i sitt siste studieår. Under dette utanlandsopphaldet fullfører du spesialemna dine, og i nokre tilfelle også masteroppgåva.

Under overskrifta "kven kan søke" finn du ut om utvekslingsavtalen gjeld for studentar på tredje eller på femte studieår, eller begge.

Språk

På universiteta som er aktuelle å studere ved er det til vanleg kinesisk som er undervisningsspråket. Men alle universiteta har kurs som blir underviste på engelsk, slik at du treng ikkje å kunne kinesisk.

Tidlegare studentar melder at dei i den praktiske kvardagen i Kina har hatt stor nytte av å lære seg litt grunnleggande kinesisk då "mannen i gata" sjeldan kan engelsk.

Kva emne kan eg ta

Praksis og studier i kinesisk rett utgjer 30 studiepoeng og vert godskrive som spesialemna i mastergraden i rettsvitskap. Kombinasjonen av praksis og studier under utveksling til Kina vert tilbydd både i haust- og vårsemesteret.

Under opphaldet i Kina skal du studere juridiske emne ved eit av fakultetet sine samarbeidsuniversitet i Shanghai eller Beijing. Emna du tek på universitetet skal tilsvare 20 studiepoeng. Samstundes skal du ha relevant praksis i til saman 5 veker hos ein norsk eller utanlandsk bedrift, institusjon eller organisasjon med verksemd og kontor i Kina. Praksisen vil normalt føregå ein til to dagar i veka gjennom store deler av semesteret.

Du skal skrive ein praksisrapport som vert vurdert av fakultetet i etterkant av utvekslingsopphaldet. Ved godkjend praksisrapport vil ein oppnå 10 studiepoeng. Den samla arbeidsmengda for studier og praksis skal utgjere 30 studiepoeng.

Fordi Kina ikkje har eit einskapleg nasjonalt grads- og creditsystem, varierer det frå universitet til universitet kor mange credits fakultetet vurderer at tilsvarar 20 norske studiepoeng.

Du søker som normalt i Søknadsweb, og fører opp Praksis og studier i kinesisk rett som eitt av vala i søknaden din. I kommentarfeltet skriv du kva by og universitet du helst vil til. Du skal setje opp tre alternativ. Når du får svar på utvekslingssøknaden din vil du få vite kva for universitet du blir nominert til. Kva for arbeidsgjevar du skal til, får du informasjon om nærare avreise. Du vil få høve til å melde inn ei liste over kva arbeidsgjevarar du helst vil ha praksis hos før du blir tildelt praksisplass.

Det er ein føresetnad at emna du vel ikkje overlappar innhaldsmessig med emne du har teke tidlegare, eller planlegg å ta seinare ved UiB.

Studieavgift

Studentar som skal utveksle til praksis og studier i Kina betaler ikkje skolepengar eller studieavgift ved vertsuniversitetet, men skal registrere seg og betale semesteravgift ved UiB for heile den tida dei er ute.

Studentar som utvekslar til Kina får eit tilleggstipend frå Lånekassen. For studieåret 24/25 er dette på kr 4277 per månad. Dette er fordi nasjonale politikarar ønskjer å motivere fleire norske studentar til å studere i land som Norge særleg ønskjer å samarbeide med når det gjeld forsking og høgare utdanning.
