IACR Fellows with the Selmer Center

The International Association of Cryptological Research (IACR) elected Vincent in 2019 and Claude in 2022 as IACR fellows for their contributions and services to the community.

IACR has established the IACR Fellows Program to recognize outstanding IACR members for technical and professional contributions that:

  • Advance the science, technology, and practice of cryptology and related fields;
  • Promote the free exchange of ideas and information about cryptology and related fields;
  • Develop and maintain the professional skill and integrity of individuals in the cryptologic community;
  • Advance the standing of the cryptologic community in the wider scientific and technical world and promote fruitful relationships between the IACR and other scientific and technical organizations.

In 2019 our adjunct professor Prof. Vincent Rijmen was elected as an IACR Fellow in 2019 for 

co-designing AES, contributions to the design and cryptanalysis of symmetric primitives, and service to the IACR

In 2022 our consultant Prof. Claude Carlet is elected an IACR Fellow for his

fundamental contributions to the design and analysis of Boolean functions for cryptographic applications, and for sustained educational leadership
