The research group for Public International Law especially concerns itself with human rights, refugee law, the international law of the sea and the law of armed conflict. The core of our activities is to support our PhD researchers through methodological and substantive feedback on their work. We also host seminars and invite guest researchers for lectures as well as longer-term stays.

The group is jointly led by postdoctoral fellow Jessica Schultz and professor Knut Einar Skodvin.
