Vilde Dimmen defended her thesis "Geologic controls on fluid flow and seismic imaging of faults in carbonate rocks - Insights from quantitative outcrop analysis and reflection seismic modelling" on Friday 16 June.

Professor Zoe Shipton from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, and Professor Clare Bond from the University of Aberdeen were opponets, while Professor Ritske Huismans was  internal member of the committee.

The doctoral project has been supervised by Professor Atle Rotevatn (main supervisor), Professor Isabelle Christine Lecomte and Professor Robert Leslie Gawthorpe, all at the Department of Geosciences, UiB.

The defence was led by Professor Berit Oline Hjelstuen, Department of Geosciences.
