My research focuses on enhancing our understanding of nearshore wave behavior and improving prediction models. Leveraging my background in Applied and Computational Mathematics, I utilize advanced computational techniques on computers to simulate and analyze ocean wave patterns near coastlines. My aim of my thesis is to refine wave forecasting accuracy, ultimately benefitting those who rely on such predictions for various purposes.

In addition I currently research the interplay between infra-gravity waves, nearshore circulation, and the formation of rip currents along our coastlines. I am looking into the dynamics of these phenomena, gaining insights that contribute to our understanding of coastal processes.
