On this day, the University Museum will be filled with activities, exhibitions, and lectures for young and old! All activities are free and open to anyone interested.

The program will be updated continuously.

Activities in the Museum and Museum Garden

We bring together researchers for meetings with the public in the museum's exhibitions. You are invited to participate in activities and knowledge exchange about the world around you, to examine objects under a microscope, and to determine what an object is. Get to know the fascinating lives of jellyfish in the ocean, study the world of spiders, learn to identify different sharks, and much, much more!

In the Museum Garden, you can learn to press plants, join a scavenger hunt, and take a guided tour of the historic Plant House.

Visit the University Museum's page for a more detailed program. (information in Norwegian only)

Lectures in the University Aula

In the University Aula, you can attend a variety of exciting lectures throughout the day. Learn about everything from cave dwellers in Western Norway to artificial intelligence. The lectures last for 20 minutes and will be held in Norwegian language.
