- Uganda: Makerere University (2-8 students)
- Tanzania: Haydom Lutheran Hospital (2-4 students)
- Malawi: Mzuzu regional hospital (2-4 students)
- Pakistan: Gulab Devi hospital, Lahore (2 students)
Vellore - India
Usually 10-12 of the students travel to India. They are received at the Christian Medical College Vellore, which is a large and reputable hospital with many associated health institutions. The students receive teaching in many topics in global health, and visit different departments at the hospital. Examination techniques will also be taught. The students have many visits to clinics and mobile clinics in villages, and they gain insight into, among other things, the work with mother-and-child issues, vaccines and treatment of leprosy and tuberculosis.
CMC Vellore is one of the most attractive medical colleges in India, with high professionalism and dedication in treatment and teaching. Today it is a large and vibrant institution with 2,000 patient beds, and they lead the way for comprehensive health and development projects in the community, covering 300 villages.

Haydom - Tanzania
In Tanzania the students visit Haydom Lutheran Hospital. Here they will be included in the daily work at the various departments the hospital, with morning rounds and other activities. Both the AIDS clinic with ART and the tuberculosis office are visited. The operating theater is also used, according to the interest of the students. There will also be visits to mother-and-child clinics both at Haydom and at mobile clinics.

Makerere University - Uganda
The students going to Makerere University will visit several departments of Mulago Teaching Hospital in Kampala. They will spend some days at Butabika Mental Hospital. They will also visit Kayunga District Hospital which is located two hours’ drive from Kampala, and they will stay there for several weeks and take part in the daily activities of this hospital.
