Renowned biostatistician holds CISMAC-supported statistics course
Stan Lemeshow, Professor of Biostatistics at the College of Public Health, The Ohio State University, Columbus in the US held a CISMAC-supported course in “Logistic Regression” in our partner institution, Innlandet Hospital Trust 12 - 16 March 2018.

Participants from 9 collaborating institutions in India, Nepal, Pakistan, Uganda, Zambia and Norway came to Lillehammer to learn about logistic regression modeling, which has become a standard method for analyses in health science. The course included both theoretical and practical state-of-the-art techniques for building, interpreting, and assessing the performance of logistic regression models.
These five very intense days offered a wonderful opportunity to learn from one of the world leading teachers of medical statistics, but also for CISMAC researchers to interact with each other and discuss both statistics but also other areas of common interest.
