Art and cultural history collections

In addition to the archaeological and etnographical collections, the museum also have a big collection of medieval church art. This collection consist of church artworks, from both the insida and outside of the churches.

The universitymuseum also have a coin and medal collection, a collection of rural folk art, the medieval Bergen collection and a collection of objects from the the theater history of Bergen.
