Scandinavian Literature

Nordic literature approaches literature from a historical and text analysis perspective. In essence it comprises the ability to read, enjoy, understand and discuss Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Icelandic literature. It provides knowledge about and an insight into Nordic literature from both a historical and text analysis perspective. Students of this subject look at literature in the light of historical and cultural contexts and work with a diversity of theoretical perspectives.
