Abstract
Hydrogen is enjoying a rapidly growing attention in Europe and around the world and is now at the core of international strategies for deep decarbonisation. The targets for emissions cuts by 2030 and 20501 depend on wide deployment of hydrogen-based energy carriers, such as hydrogen (H2) and ammonia (NH3), and the development of a hydrogen-based energy sector. This presentation will describe the challenges and opportunities related to development and growth of a hydrogen energy sector in the short and long term.
