When can I go

Master's students in System Dynamics can travel on exchange in the 2nd semester of the master's programme.

Language

The language of instruction at the university is basically Italian, but all courses in the EMSD programme are taught in English.

If you do not have sufficient language skills, there are several ways to prepare for the exchange programme. See UiB.no for information about language courses and language tandems.

What courses can I take

Master's students in System Dynamics can take courses in Palermo that are taught in the spring semester of the EMSD programme as an alternative to specific courses in the study programme at UiB (GEO-SD306, GEO-SD308 and GEO-SD321).

These courses are available in Palermo:

  • Planning and Control Systems (8 ECTS)
  • System Dynamics for Business Strategy (9 ECTS)
  • Planning, Policy Design, and Management in the Public Sector (7 ECTS)
  • System Dynamics for Planning, Policy Design, and Management in the Public Sector (6 ECTS)

Tuition fee

Erasmus students do not pay tuition fees at the host university, but must register and pay semester fees at UiB for the entire time they are abroad.
