In this presentation, Olena will first talk about the role of Earth Observation (EO) for monitoring of land surface dynamics, changes and processes, followed by examples from her ongoing and upcoming research projects focused on EO applications for biodiversity monitoring (SEBAS project, funded by German Research Foundation) and upcoming EWALD project (funded by European Commission).
