Juliana Tappe Ortiz and Corentin Poyet attended the "6th international week' of the Catholic University of Lille, which a new Erasmus+ partner of the Department of Government.

This event was organized by the international relations office from the French university and gathers about 15 researchers, teachers and administrative staff from all over Europe, India and Lebanon.

The main topic of the week was "Committed Universities in the 21st Century." It was a great opportunity to discuss international solidarity, students engagement, and the role of high education institutions into the resolution of global challenge. Juliana and Corentin had the opportunity to introduce colleagues from abroad to our pedagogical approaches and practice in our department and University. It was also very enriching to learn more how other universities deal with challenges that also concern us.

Beyond the various workshops, Juliana and Corentin met with students of the Catholic University of Lille and taught three courses to this large audience. Lille's students could learn more about our work and opportunities we can offer both in terms of degree programs and exchange opportunities at our department.
