Guideelines for the use of photos and videos produced for the University of Bergen

By downloading and using the material, the user accepts this agreement with the University of Bergen.

• The material is protected by Norwegian copyright law.
   
• For all publications, both digital and physical, the photographer (if known) and the owner institution (University of Bergen) must be credited.
   
• The material can be used free of charge but cannot be resold, licensed, or loaned out.
   
• The material cannot be used for advertisements, commercials, illustrations, signage, branding, or other commercial purposes.
   
• Portraits and situational photos can be reproduced without further consent from the depicted individuals, provided they are used in a relevant context that has public interest.
   
• It is not permitted to edit/manipulate the material or use the material as a basis for further processing by artificial intelligence (generative AI).
