Defibrillators are self-explanatory, and you can choose between Norwegian or English voice message.
The defibrillator Powerheart G5 is made to help people having cardiac arrest the best chance to survive, and it gives feedback on the quality of your heart compressions when giving cardiac pulmonary resuscitation.
REMEMBER TO CALL THE EMERGENCY NUMBER 113, FOR MEDICAL HELP.
Together with the defibrillator there is a ready kit which contains:
- Scissors if nescessary to cut up clothes
- Razor if nescessary to secure electrodes
- Cloth if nescessary to wipe the skin to attach electrodes
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences is equipped with nine defibrillators. They are found in the following buildings:
- Realfagbygget, Allégaten 41, ground floor (U), common entrance area by the ramp
- Realfagbygget, Allégaten 41, second floor by the elevators 4 and 5 in the canteen area
- Realfagbygget, Allégaten 41, third floor outside elevators 4 and 5 (staircaise C)
- Bjørn Trumpys house, Allégaten 55, third floor at the Department of Physics and Technology
- Geophysical Institute, Allégaten 70, second floor by the lecture halls
- Biologen, Thormøhlensgate 53A, first floor in the vestibule at entrace A-block
- Høyteknologisenteret,Thormøhlensgate 55, third floor in the BIO-block by the lift in the north end
- Høyteknologisenteret,Thormøhlensgate 55, fifth floor in the BIO-block by the lunch room
- Høyteknologisenteret,Thormøhlensgate 55, fourth floor in the Data-block by the elevator next to the administration
