MAPPING OF FRACTURE CORRIDORS IN SOTRA AND ØYGARDEN

This project include detailed mapping of veins, fractures and fracture corridors to better understand the distribution, geometry and fluid flow properties in fractured crystalline rocks. By using aerial and drone photographs, in addition to fieldwork, we hope to learn more about how fracture corridors are developed, and how they affect fluid flow in potential geothermal-, groundwater- and hydrocarbon reservoirs.
