FAULTS, FRACTURES AND FLUID FLOW IN CARBONATE ROCKS

Main content

SCIENTIFIC FOCUS

Investigating the architecture, permeability structure and seismic imaging of faults in carbonate rocks. Approaches are field based (Malta, UK, Svalbard) in combination with laboratory analysis of petrophysical/geophysical properties, and  seismic forward modelling. Large industry consortium project PD3 hosted by U Manchester is a large part of these activities
