Professor Vigdis Broch-Due is guest essayist on the American Humanist Society’s Forum OnTheHuman.org with "Animal in Mind: people, cattle and shared nature on the African Savannah". Her thought-provoking essay is published 3 October 2011 and will stay open for 2 weeks for comments.

On the human is a project that is run and organised by the National Humanities Center. On the Human (OTH) has been created as an online community comprising both humanists and scientists that are oriented towards understanding the persons and quasi-persons who surround us. The forum regularly publishes texts on these topics by a great diversity of contributors, and Vigdis Broch-Due's text is available here from 3 October 2011.
