Health, safety and environment (HSE)

Faculty of Science and Technologys main tasks are to carry out research, education and dissemination of research results at a high professional level. The faculty considers a safe and secure work environment to be an important factor to achieve these goals. The faculty must have good HSE competence and a well structured organisation of the HSE work.

The work environment at the faculty should possess the following qualities:

• safe and secure so that staff and students can give their best
• show mutual respect between staff and students
• be inclusive and be characterised by openness, friendliness, politeness and a willingness to cooperate
• that everyone is given opportunities for further development and skills enhancement
