The Reasearch Catalyst

The purpose of the catalyst is to strengthen the interdisciplinary environment around the Pandemic Centre, as well as to provide an arena for anyone thinking about or already working on projects related to pandemics to get feedback from people with a different scientific background.

Successful first international conference at the Pandemic Centre

Friday 27th of October the Pandemic Centre at UiB celebrated 3 years of existence by inviting to the first international conference. The topic for this year's conference was long term consequences of the covid-19 pandemic.

Declaration on "Pandemic, diversity and social inequality"

During the conference on "Pandemic, diversity and social inequality" in Bergen in October, researchers started working on a declaration based on knowledge and experiences from the pandemic. The declaration has now been published and is open to read.

During the visit of a Norwegian delegation to Nepal, the Pandemic Centre traced its intention to partner with the newly established Pandemic & Disaster Preparedness Centre at Dhulikhel University Hospital.
