Projects
I currently manage a large portfolio of research and innovation projects based at the University of Bergen and Haukeland University Hospital, funded from the Norwegian Research Council, Horizon Europe, Michael J Fox foundation, ERA4HEALTH, Regional Health trusts, patient organizations and private foundations. My role is to continously update our research and innovation strategy and to lay the foundation for the next generation of projects. This includes two Research Centers:
2022- ongoing: Head of Research & Innovation Strategy – K.G. Jebsen Center for Parkinson’s Disease, University of Bergen - Norway
2020- ongoing: Head of Research & Innovation Strategy – Neuro-SysMed Center, Haukeland University Hospital - Norway
Major Research and Innovation projects:
2025: "GameON: Gamified Activity and Monitoring for Early Onset of Neurological Decline" - Project Leader - Norwegian Research Council (Pilot Helse program)
2024-2025: "Development of novel NAD-therapies for neurodegeneration" – Project co-leader – Digital Life Norway Innovation Roadmap
2023-2028: “EBV-MS” – WP leader and scientific project manager – Horizon Europe (RIA project, 15 partners, €7 M)
