The Matrix project in Uganda has now been running for a couple of years. Fieldwork can sometimes be difficult, but Vigdis managed to solve the problem of keeping food in the hot climate by having very fresh food for lunch!

The first of the biology Master's projects (Theresa Kronstad - Butterfly diversity) is nearing completion and Kristoffer Hauge has successfully collected many bat recordings for his project. Jenny Reiniö has been identifying the many ferns she collected for her PhD, and Perpetra Akite and Colins Bulafu are nearing the end of their fieldwork and will begin analysing their data soon.
