Ægir is the only usable resource in search for airplane and shipwreck in deep water

Professor Rolf Birger Pedersen would like to make the research ROV Ægir 6000 ready for rapid operations. Such ROVs can be used to pick up deceased, "black box" and for other kind of purposes from major ocean depths.

Ægir can dive deeper than any other Norwegian underwater craft. After the effort in the search for the Russian helicopter on Svalbard this fall, the ROV is wanted as a resource, but is there money for upgrading?
