EPOS Kick-off meeting 4-5 February 2016

European Plate observing System – Norway (EPOS-N) held its Kick-off meeting on 4-5 February at Scandic Ørnen, Bergen.
The Kick-off was opened by Kuvvet Atakan who is the EPOS-N Project Coordinator. Present at the meeting were representatives of the Consortium Partners; UiO, CMR, NORSAR, NGU, NMA and UiB.
EPOS-N Project intends to integrate data from National observatories in Norway on seismological, geodetic as well as geological and geophysical data into a new E-Infrastructure which will be implemented during the period 2016 – 2020. Presentations and plenary session discussions focused mainly on the planning of activities for the year 2016 with regards to Work Packages involving the Consortium Partners.
