Eurasian students from Kazakhistan

Mashzhan Akzhigit and Musabekov Zhorabek are the first Kazakh Eurasian students working on the isolates from the hot springs of Kazakhistan. Zhorabek will be working on culturing and phylogenentic characterization of the isolates and further analysis will be continued by Akzhigit. Their visit is funded within the framework of a Eurasia-funded project collaboration between Norway and Kazakhstan in higher education and research in Microbiology.
