Dr. Joyce Nalugya presented findings from our research project: TREAT C-AUD Child Alcohol Use Disorder in Eastern Uganda: Screening, diagnostics, risk factors and handling of children  drinking alcohol on Prevalence and associated factors of alcohol use among primary school going children (6-13 years old)  in Mbale District.

She described that alcohol was used among one in four children, boys and girls alike, and approximately 8% of boys and 7% of girls had problematic use or developed some type of dependency and craving.
