On 2 November 2020, PhD candidate Runa Falck held a presentation on «Ethical reasons to participate in lifestyle politics». In her presentation, she referred to utilitarianism, deontology and virtue ethics, to answer the question if individuals have a moral responsibility to engage in lifestyle politics in light of the climate crisis. Runa Falck is currently working on a transdisciplinary PhD project embedded in UiBs strategic area «climate and energy transition». She investigates people's attitudes towards changing their lifestyles in order to mitigate climate change.
