| Writing Workshop Joint hosted with the Scottish Network for Religion and Literature (SNRL) in Scotland SNRL and UiB’s Literature and Religion research group is collaborating for a joint publication on the topic ‘stories of origin’. This writing workshop will help participants turn their drafts into publishable pieces ready for submission. |
21-25 Oct | Symposium: Shakespeare, Greece, Democracy and Art Hosted by the Bergen-Hamar Shakespeare Network in Athens, Greece With a special focus on their expression in the Renaissance arts, from painting and sculpture to poems and plays, we will present and discuss ideas about religion, drama, politics, myth and legend, and the way such concepts were understood or misunderstood, adopted or resisted, reshaped or discarded in and around the time of Shakespeare. |
