New research project on chitons from Norway funded by Artsdatabanken

A new 2-years project on polyplacophoran molluscs funded by the Norwegian Taxonomy Initiative (Artsdatabanken) has started on October 2019. This project has as Principal Investigator Dr Nina Mikkelsen and the main goals are to describe and map the diversity and distribution of chitons in Norwegian waters based on museum material and newly collected specimens through the use of morphological data and molecular barcoding.
