Research

Research on the osteological and palaeobotanical collections makes up the main thrust of activity in the group. A main focus is to increase the interpretation possibilities of the palaeo-remains; to utilize and implement relevant methods (isotop, aDNA, numerical and chemical analyses), and collaboration with other fields of research. Responsibility for management of the cultural heritage is an important part of this activity and to a large extent our research focuses on interdisciplinary questions.
