Three members of our Research Group took part in the Day Zero of the widely known SDG Conference Bergen 2021.

The SDG Conference aspires to raise awareness of Sustainable Development Goals' content, in addition to being a platform for promotion of the practical application of these goals worldwide.
Professor Berte-Elen Konow presented the new EU Taxonomy, drawing on the SDG 8, 9 and 12. She has argued that the lengthy instrument adopted by the European Commission will contribute to a sustainability assessment of the new investments.
Professor Ingunn Elise Myklebust and PhD candidate Eirik Finserås covered the topic of wind farm licensing both on land and offshore. Their talks were related to SDG 7, 13, 14 and 15, and the speakers' areas of expertise. Ingunn is a specialist in spatial planning and Norwegian municipal regulations, while offshore wind licenses are the subject of Eirik's PhD project.
