Bergen Energy and Climate Law Days 2023

The Bergen Energy and Climate Law Days 2023 were organized for the first time at the Faculty of Law this autumn. With over 70 participants over two days, we gathered a knowledgeable assembly from across the Nordic region. Academics, practitioners, public representatives, dedicated students, and even non-lawyers shared perspectives on the state of regulation related to sustainability, environmental protection, energy transformation, and climate change.

Half of the Bergen Energy and Climate Law Days were dedicated to doctoral presentations, which received comments from a designated senior commentator. The other half of the event consisted of presentations from experienced researchers and discussions revolving around the common challenges our disciplines face. The program for this year's conference is attached below.
